Terms of service

Last updated 14 October 2026.

1. Who we are

The Cerberus service is provided by CERBERUS SECURITY LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16468569, whose registered office is Newlands, West Alvington, Kingsbridge, England, TQ7 3PN ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@cerberusantibot.com.

2. The service

Cerberus is a software-as-a-service bot detection and mitigation product made up of a client script or SDK, a verification API and a dashboard. The features and request allowances of each plan are described on our pricing page or in your order form.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate business details and keep your API keys secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Fees and payment

Plans are billed monthly in advance in pounds sterling. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where applicable. Usage above a plan's allowance is billed in arrears at the overage rate shown on our pricing page. If a payment fails we may suspend the service after giving you notice.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Our refund and cancellation policy forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may only deploy Cerberus on websites, apps and APIs you own or are authorised to protect. You must not use the service to attack, probe or disrupt any third party, or attempt to reverse-engineer the client script.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but the service is provided without guaranteed uptime unless you have a signed service level agreement. If the service is unavailable, the client script is designed to fail open so that your real users are not blocked.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by automated traffic that is not detected.

9. Data protection

Where we process personal data on your behalf we do so as your processor under our data processing terms, available on request. Our privacy policy explains how we handle our own customers' data.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice for changes that affect you. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
